A Coffeehouse for Roberto & Sharon

______________________________________________________________________________ A Coffeehouse for Roberto & Sharon  December 11, 2010 from 3:30 until 6:30 pm @ Church of the Ascension, 253 Echo Drive, Ottawa (map) We are holding a special afternoon coffeehouse to celebrate our friends, Roberto Miranda and Sharon Lee-Mkakatu, and to encourage them and their families during this difficult time. Join us for an afternoon of songs, stories, poetry, dance and Christmas carols as we bring a bit of Advent light and warmth to these cold December days.  Admission is free and all are welcome. We'll provide warm beverages, soup and bagels, but please feel free to bring other (nut free!) snacks to share.  If you'd like to perform a short act (e.g. 3 songs, a dance, a favourite Christmas carol, or reading a story or poetry), please contact Dwayne @ smilingstickman@gmail.com by Friday, December 10 so that we can be sure to include you in the program.
